we have got 4 weeks touristing this beautiful country, here are some pics and stories …
Ho Chi Minh City(HCMC-Sai Gon) > Can Tho (Mekong Delta) > HCMC > Da Lat > Da Nang > Hoi An > Hue > Hanoi > Ha Long Bay > Hanoi > Phu Quoc > HCMC > FRA.
After the huzzle of the big cities, HCMC and Can Tho, we went to the more silent mountain area of Da Lat, and enjoyed the cooler climate up there.
The day we had booked the first national flight from Da Lat to Da Nang, we spent on the aiport waiting to board, but they delayed it for about 12 hours, because of the thunderstorm in Da Nang … the day after we flew.
So here are some pics of the last two weeks, feel free to comment:
Streets of Hoi An, after the thunderstorm, with a typical shop, selling vietnameses lanterns
A street/food vendor, frying potato/banana snacks, very delicious.
So after Hoi An, we went on to HUE, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay and finally to Phu Quoc (instead of Sapa):
Overnight train from Hue to Hanoi, which was very funny, we had a 4 berth cabin, soft-beds, with AC, but still humid… but we could sleep some hours, and what i liked best on that train, the „restaurant“ on the last waggon, where the locals ate, early in the morning and you could have a french breakfast 😉 [coffee and cigarettes]
„descending dragon bay“
So finally we spent 28 Days in that beautiful country, learned lots about the culture, the people and the delicious food. We saw lots of sites, cities and nature. I would go to Vietnam once more. But i Think this time i would start in Ha noi and see the skipped area of Sapa first.
